Evonik China recognized as China’s Top Employer

The award proved the significant efforts and achievements we have made in building our HR system and demonstrated that Evonik is further on the track to be an employer of choice in China. “People are our most precious asset in achieving business success,” commented Dr. Dahai Yu, President Evonik Greater China Region, “Having high performance teams and the right culture in the company is more important and also much more difficult than putting money on the ground. This is already the third time that Evonik China has been awarded as the China’s Top Employer by CRF. The company is evaluated in different aspects of HR management, such as HR strategy, salary management, performance evaluation, employee training and many more. Talking about the reasons for awarding Evonik as one of the Top Employers, the evaluating panel commented that in a fast growing business environment, Evonik China endeavors not only to incentivize high performance, but also to provide employees with various training and development opportunities. The company sees the crisis as an opportunity to review its strategy and enter into a new phase of growth.

Besides the China’s Top Employer Award, Evonik China has also received a couple of other awards recently in reorganization of the excellence in HR management. The company won the award of the “100 Best Human Recourses Management Award and the “2009 Best HR Management Team” from 51 Job, as well as the “Best Practice in Leadership Development” China STAFF award from CCH.
